Fresh lemonade and limeade is a brilliant way to use nature's miracle food to quench your thirst, increase your thirst and satisfy your sweetooth - the pHealthy way!
Below, healthy carbonated sodas taste great and are great fun! Plus it's a great way for kids to see they can have their soda and drink it too! Keep in mind, fresh lemon/limeade should come first with pure water.
pH Lemonade Recipe For Daily Foundational and a great "all occasion" beverage to offer guests and family
Juice of 2 average lemons (or lemon an lime) per quart of pure water
1/4 tsp Astraya Stevia per quart pure water
I make a gallon every other day for our family.
6-8 lemons, 1/2 tsp Astraya Stevia, a gallon pure water.
Carbonated Sodas - Do It Yourself
Using ANY ONE of the following: my favorites are GingerAle & Black Cherry Soda
- Use concentrated lemon juice (or lime juice, or both)
- Ginger Juice (from the Ginger People, easily found)
- Unsweetened"Concentrated" Black Cherry Juice (health store favorite)
- Or any unsweetened concentrated juice or puree (please stay away from orange juice or acidic juices, concentrated berries would be healthiest)
Then Add
Astraya Stevia (no aftertaste) & Sparkling Mineral Water
Recipe: Important to make by the glass so it is highly carbonated & tasty.
1 tsp concentrated juice or to taste
1/8th tsp concentrated Astraya stevia or another stevia to taste
stir with chopsticks until stevia disappears
add ice, then add the sparkling mineral water (healthy source)
Optional floating condiments sliced lemons or berries
Key is to build the drink to taste, once you have it the way you like it, mark it on a recipe card and offer the card as instructions as you lay out the ingredients for your guests to build their own!
